What do you think about meat substitutes?

What do you think about meat subsitutes?
I personally avoid calling them "fake" or "mock" meats, as they are made from real plant ingredients. I prefer saying plant meats or grain meats. 'Meat' comes from the old english word 'mete' which simply means 'food'. This is a fact I learned from the amazing Colleen Patrick-Goudreau @joyfulvegan
